1. There's a pentangle in my desk drawer.
Must be 30 or 40 ball points in there.
;-)

2. Bad pun, trof! Bad! Bad!
Good band though. Mrs. Squeech was a huge fan. I was more of a Fairport Convention/Steeleye Span fiend, but I liked them well enough, especially the debut album (where they do *everything*) and Jack Orion (more determinedly traditional).

Never got to see them live, but we did see one incarnation of the John Renbourn Group with Jacqui McShee, very nice. And of course Danny Thompson plays bass for Richard (ex-Fairport and no relation) Thompson, plus you can hear him on that remarkable record by the Blind Boys of Alabama.

3. I always liked John Renbourn....
Fantastic folk guitarist. As far as that genre goes, though, I prefer Fairport and Steeleye Span. Pentangle were pretty cool, although I've never owned an album by them I didn't by for a dollar at a used vinyl store.

5. Was that outfit with petite zither--playing woman?
Saw them several times in the Seventies, and I'm pretty sure I have one of their records around here somewhere.

7. Jacqui McShee was Pentangle's vocalist
Don't know if she plays the zither.

'Wedding Dress' is my favorite tune by them. And I too bought all their albums used!
