I was thinking of "The Core". The Golden Gate bridge is destroyed...as well as the Colisseum in Rome. Silly stuff, but entertaining.

21. I just remembered my favorite aspect of the movie.

In one of the opening scenes, a surgeon is busy removing bullets from a shooting victim. The dialog is punctuated by the plink, plink, plink of him removing about a 100 bullets and tossing them into a tin dish. Later on, he's operating at a refugee camp. What's he doing? Still plucking bullets from a victim; plink, plink, plink. I can't help but feel some people had real fun with that!

The sign seems more encouraging than thought-inducing in an attempt to get a person to change his mind... Now if they added "Drowning takes several minutes to accomplish and really hurts bad", maybe people really WOULD take notice and change their minds!

I mean... kinda useless without it. Furthermore, who walks across the Golden Gate anyway? Wouldn't it make sense to not have a sidewalk from which people could jump and just have barriers alongside the roadway to keep everyone in? I never understood that.

I walked across it as a tourist and liked the unobstructed views a lot more than the parts of the bridge with barriers
