Questions about land phone
We still use land phones for most of our calls. Cell phones - pre paid - is for emergency or when traveling.

We have been using Qwest for local calls and AT&T for long distance and international calls. And the total comes to about $45-50 a month, unless there are family emergencies that increase traffic.

Now AT&T is telling me that for $29.99 a month I can have both local and long distance and international. Is it too good to be true? Does AT&T offer the same local calls as Qwest (or other local providers)?

1. Sounds about right, depending on local taxes.
