Serious ugly there, but if it is on the water, potential buyers are probably lucky it has a kitchen at all.

Let me guess, it is described as "country cozy". I've sat around many a similar kitchen, but the vast majority of them have since been upgraded.

Quite nostalgic though, really takes me back.

Clearly, it's horrible. But, in a certain way it's kind of charming. I just keep picturing the person decorating it:
No, the zebra statue should go by the white curtains so it pops!
I want to feel like Zsa Zsa Gabor when I walk in the door!

68. To be fair, we have a retro house
We have faux wood paneling in the kitchen and basement. One bathroom is light blue. The other is light pink.
The house had been on the market for a year. The realator had told us that many people had shown interest but said that it required too many updates in the decor.
We thought that it was great. Unfortunately, we are finding out that it could use some energy efficiency updates but have no plans to remodel the actual decor anytime soon. Of course, we got our house for much less than the listed house.
For $985,000 around here (not that we could even afford the tax), we would get something very new looking with the latest high class styles. It would be a true mansion.
