Even with our winter here the weeds are coming up.
Damn, I don't want to cut grass in February.

Even the little white wild flowers are coming up along the bayou near my house.

I want my winter.

Summer is long enough around here.

1. We had more moisture this winter than I can remember
for almost 10 years. I can't wait for the bug infestations. The bugs are definitely gonna be happy around here.

2. I am hoping for more winter.
An early spring might mean a early summer.

I am not missing the bugs right now, last summer bugs were terrible.

3. Trees are budding here
And I went on a weed killing/pulling expidition around my yard yesterday. Some of the flowering shrubs are already getting ready to bloom.

Winter is short here in CA, but this is unusually so, especially after the heavy freeze we had recently.

5. We had a early fall and a decent winter.
Several weeks of cold weather, I want more.

My yard last year had more weeds then grass, I hate to use weed and feed.

4. Every thing is dead or sleeping here.
The cold snap really killed a lot. I think I lost my little rose tree. It's not supposed to be in the 60's in january and 4 in feb. Confuses the heck out of plants.

7. The poor plants don't know what is going on with the weird temps.
I don't want a early summer.

11. You sound as crazy as me.
I'd rather have 2" of snow and 10 degrees than 90 degree weather. I can put on more clothes. At 90 I just can't take off enough. Maybe someday someone will invent a way to strip to your bones.

13. You are so right.
I hate summer, total waste of time.

I like my winter clothes, and going for walks.

I could skip summer,no problem.

17. Move north.
I'm in Michigan and eyeballing Canada. There is a reason that their nicer. Cold brings out the best in people. Hot just seems to bring out fists and guns. End of rant. Sorry.

12. Good Luck!
I'm too lazy

it's not warm enough here yet

soon enough

I need to seed and weed my yard anyway when it gets a little warmer, I've got stuff that only lives in the cold I guess coming up right now. Maybe I should pull it up, but there is a BUNCH of it coming up in my front yard right now.

Summer can just stay away.

I have a bad feeling it will start in March.
