If it's shared humor than almost anything is okay. If it targets someone, or a group of people, then it's not okay.

The only exception I made is satire that targets the people at the top. Mocking the oppressor is a great tradition that helps minorities cope.

But i heard some comic do a bit about having and surviving cancer that was ROFL funny. I cannot think of who it was, but it was an older male, and IIRC the illness was colon cancer.

i agree that generally it wouldn't be funny, but coming from a survivor with stand-up skills, it was hilarious.

Does that mean that it is okay to create a hostile environment for the "majority"? I don't think there is a majority in this country though, is there? I mean women outnumber men. Caucasians outnumber other ethnicities, but no specific group, like, for example, heterosexual white males, actually constitutes more than 50% of the population. So does that mean we must ban all speech about anyone as potentially immoral?
