When your hand lotion is too low for the pump to pump it
out of the container, what do you do to use up the remaining lotion?

Turning it upside down allows the lotion to pool near the top, but it’s a pain to use it.

1. I dump it into a smaller container
that can be covered, and keep it in the bathroom. I use it after a shower on my legs

2. Leave it sitting around untill the kids make a mess
by opening the top and not putting it back. Then it gets all gummy and I throw it away. Eventually.

4. Put a little water in it
and shake it up. You'll get a few more uses before having to resort to turning it upside down.

7. It looks as though...
...mostly women are replying to this thread so I don't think I'll take it in the direction that I was tempted to when I first saw it. :)

11. Your winking emoticon...
...leads me to belive that you know.:)

But just in case I'm misreading it let me put it this way:

When I saw the OPs subject line it immediately made me think of an episode of "That 70s Show" where the older "evil" sister is threatening to dime out her younger brother to their parents over something he's done. Younger brother is envisioning all the times his sister has dimed him out:

"Daddy, Eric snuck out with the car last night"

"Daddy, Eric did this...Daddy, Eric did that..." and finally

"Daddy, Eric used ALL my hand lotion."

10. If it gets down THAT low, it's not worth wrestling for that last bit of lotion.
Edited on Tue Feb-06-07 03:36 PM by NewWaveChick1981
I turned a bottle upside down once to do that, and when I opened it, the lotion spilled everywhere....all over the bathroom sink and counter, and all over my sleeves and hands. Not gonna do that again. :P

Edited to add: I'm not gonna add water to lotion to get it out. I hate watering down lotion the same way I hate watering down liquid soap...it just breaks down in the bottle and is no good to anyone. It pisses me off!!! :P

12. I take the cap off & turn it upside down
I place it in a plastic bowl to drain. Then I put the lid on the bowl. I can usually get at least another week's worth of lotion that way.

I also do that with lotions that don't have a pump. I spend a lot on lotions so I want to be able to use every last drop.
