Nothing a little retail therapy won't cure. Even if it's fantasy shopping.

Horrendous morning. Nothing catastrophic, just the kind of day where you are hit with constant annoying stuff from the moment you open your eyes.

I have a lottery ticket in my wallet. I don't know why. I rarely buy them. But today I happen to have one on me. If it hits tomorrow night I've got approximately $19 million coming to me before taxes. Now I realize full well that playing the lottery is a tax on people who are bad at math and I'm more likely to be hit by lightening. Even when there isn't a clowd in the sky!

But whatever, I need a mood lift. After setting aside the principal necessary to live a comfortable life from conservative interest earnings, providing for the children's education through their doctoral degrees, distributing money to family members, and donating with wild abandon to my favorite charities, I decided to do a little conspicuous consumption.

Nothing in the 300,000 sq. foot range or the 12 mpg gas guzzler, but luxurious nonetheless.

So here goes.

My New House #151567 at http://www.ultimateplans.com
My New Car http://www.designyourvolvo.com/dyv3/config/retrieveVehicle?saveID=147535
My Boat http://www.pontoon.com/client_files/2007_series/PDF//Premier_Boundary_Waters.pdf

Other than that, I will have a regular cleaning service, pool service, lawn maintenance and personal trainer.

But don't worry. I won't go over to the dark side. I will still vote Democrat and now I'll be able to contribute to tons of campaigns!

Hmmm... this morning doesn't seem so bad now. :)
