Remember the talking toaster on the Red Dwarf, besides we did need a new toaster.

I haven't seen Red Dwarf in a long time, have to find the old video tapes.

Red Dwarf was a great show, PBS used to air the show.

One guy was a human who ancestors were cats.

55. he's not really a human with cat ancestors
he's a cat that evolved over 3 million years to stand erect and create speech and religion and war. I just had to get the book out to find out why there was only one on the ship, because all the rest of them had left to find their creator, and only a few remained who died off until there was only one couple which had a son.

I never watched the shows, but I read two books. I'm not sure if there are any more.

17. Check this out.
Product Description
Buck Rogers once said "There are countless ways of achieving greatness, but any road to achieving one's maximum potential must be built on a bedrock of respect for the individual, a commitment to excellence, and a rejection of mediocrity". This toaster looks like a radio that might have appeared in one of those Buck Rogers or Flash Gordon serials of the 1940's. One could say this is a toaster with a built-in radio or a radio with a built-in toaster. Either way, this product definitely rejects mediocrity. Whether you place it in your kitchen or in your dormitory, you can rest assured of its excellence and quality. The Kenwood TT756SL goes where other toasters and radios have gone before but it can also venture much farther. Slide-out crumb tray makes cleanup a breeze 110-Volt AC power cord

It really says something about our need for community, doesn't it, when there's a huge spaceship and even though they dislike each other, they are together much of the time. (I think it's more than just for dramatic purpose) :)

I preferred it until they start going out for adventure (season 4), then it became less character based. I did like the one where they thought it was a virtual reality game - Rimmer was a homeless person, the Cat was Duane Dibley, etc. :hi:

Sacramento's the Official Stupid Radio Capitol of the Universe at the moment (the show that killed a lady with water intoxication was here) so unless I want to get annoyed while my waffles warm up, that's probably a bad idea.
