anyone local to Stanford can help me out?
at the Hoover Institute at Stanford is the Karl Popper archive. I checked they're list of papers they have. And they have corrsepondence from 1952-1982 between popper and George Soros. I'm deeply interested in both of these men, and I would really hope someone could help me by getting scans of this correspondence.

Here is apporprate web link

1. contact the library via the link on their website
I have found that libraries will do research for you, particularly when know precisely what you want. I have dealt specifically with Stanford and they are most helpful, though more expensive than some other orgs. If it is already microfilmed you can get it pretty cheap. If they have to film it, as they have had to for some of my stuff it gets costly. I imagine all Stanford libs are the same, I dealt with a different lib on campus and found it very responsive.

2. I will do that.
I was hoping to rope a du'er into my Popper/Soros obsession though.

3. Ha!
getting into special collections is a pain enough for someone who is really into it. Getting someone else to do your research requires Jim Jones or Koresh like charm or cash.

4. I'm saying
its really interesting what with Soros is doing now, who Popper was diametrically opposed to in the philosophy world after WWII. Anyone should be prone to obsession.
