2. Great, great film.
"Inherit the Wind" is one of my favorites. The subject matter still, of course, resonates today. Terrific performances all around...from Spencer Tracy (playing the Clarence Darrow character) to Fredric March (William Jennings Bryan) to Gene Kelly (H.L. Mencken) to Dick York (as John Scopes). I have the DVD...but thanks for the alert for those who haven't seen this great film.

5. Funny. I was in both of those plays. In the same year.
1994, I played Juror #10 in "12 Angry Men" and Bert Cates (The John Scopes character) in "Inherit The Wind". The guy who played our Darrow is an amazing local semi-pro stage actor who can make any character in theater come alive. He was incredible to work with.
