I'm taking down my Christmas tree

this evening. I always do it on Epiphany. And it always makes me sad. But this year is even sadder, because it was another Christmas without my mom (the second--will this ever get better?!); and because it never really felt like Christmas anyway with this wierd weather.

Are your decorations put away?

1. Yes....

I took mine down on wednesday(I think?!) Our dog grabbed part of the strand of icicles and tore that part to shreds, so I figured...its time to put it up. I always feel a bit down after Xmas, but not for the reason you stated...but, :hug:

2. I took mine down on Jan 2 and 3

Everything is put away now. The house looks kinda bare. :(

I took the lights down out front since the weather was nice today. I'm looking at the two trees (yes, two trees) and all the other decorations and it makes me sad. I never got a chance to enjoy the holidays and now they're gone. :(
