I hate odd-numbered years - dreading 2007!
Everything bad that happens to me happens in odd-numbered years. To wit:

1. 1983 - Dad died
2. 1987 - Mom died
3. 1991 - Much-adored boyfriend smashed my heart into a brazilian pieces
4. 2001 - Sister died
5. 2005 - Failed my first bar exam

On the other hand, I did marry Mr. DTBK in 1995, so you never know.

Here's hoping Americans are smart enough to sweep a Dem into office so 2009 will be happier! It certainly get any worse!
