I'm thankful for food. My pre-Xmas dinner fare, enjoying right now, is:
a caffeine-free diet dr pepper
a spicy hummus, cheddar, and muenster sandwich
and bailey's on ice on the side (for my cough *cough*) (no, really) (but of course, i'm enjoying the side effects of this medication)

What good eats are you thankful for today?

1. I made quiche for brunch
We have a spiral honey ham courtesy of the company I work for, for dinner later this evening.
Pumpkin cheesecake for dessert.

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to both of you!

2. Last night I prepared a panettone french toast dish
(panettone, sauteed apples, cinnamon, cranberries) - it sat in the fridge overnight and I popped it in the oven this morning...we ate it with applewood smoked bacon....YUM :9

6. The "baileys on ice" for your cough....
...reminded me of granny on the "Beverly Hillbillies" when she used to call her 200 proof moonshine her "rheumatism medicine".
