4. I heard it for the first time when I was about nine years old,
on one of my dad's albums. When I asked Dad what the song meant, he said, "Ask your mom." :rofl: :spray:

2. That song always reminds me of one of my cousins.
He always wanted to learn to play the guitar so he could play that song, and he finally did!

This lead to the "Garage Band" my family had, composed of my dad, my uncle, two cousins, me, my sister Kathy, and my brothers Dwain and Robert. Don't know if we were very good, but we had a hell of a good time!

5. It was an absolute blast!
My dad was a real country music fan (the GOOD country stuff like Johnny Cash), so we did lots of that. Gad, I miss that.

16. It wouldn't be the same.
My dad passed away 30 years ago; my cousin who learned to play guitar passed away about 20 years ago. Nah, I prefer to listen to the memories.
