With or without nuts? Personally I have a strong nut preference. I like my fudge chock full o' walnuts..or cashews..or pecans...or even pistachios..BUT NO FRIGGIN PEANUTS.

5. You and my husband..yeesh...
When I make fudge at home I pour the fudge into the dish and then try to smush the walnuts into half the fudge and leave his nut free.

Ack!

There are some things in this world I'm glad I've never experienced.

I do like nuts in my fudge, tho.

Edited on Wed Dec-20-06 02:38 PM by youthere
Walnuts are good, and so are pecans. Cashews are scrumptious.

On edit: COme to think of it, I've had white fudge that had almonds in it..I'm sure I ate it considering it was fudge.

14. It depends on what kind I'm making.
I usually put nuts in the milk chocolate or white chocolate fudge, because it helps cut the sweetness. Dark chocolate fudge I usually make plain or with crushed peppermint candy.

I use either walnuts or pecans.

15. doesn't it depend on what kind of fudge it is?
I think chocolate fudge should have nuts in it. But I make a candycane fudge that should definitely NOT have nuts in it.

I don't usually put nuts in my signature peanut butter fudge, but once in a while I'll use chunky peanut butter.

24. Doesn't really matter....fudge is fudge
I made fudge without nuts (one of my kids doesn't like them), with walnuts, rocky-road fudge and peanut butter fudge.

Yummmmm....
