can't do any wrapping yet, though. I've already baked:

1,100 cookies (give or take...people keep eating 'em, sheesh).
3 kinds of fudge
chocolate covered cherries
peanut brittle
coconut patties
peppermint patties

I should be making sugar cookies and peanut butter cups...but I don't wanna, so....

I vote for buying boots!!!

24. I know the feeling...
Next Tuesday, I do NOTHING. Told them at work that I wouldn't come in...because on the 26th, I do NOTHING that I don't want to do. I let the kids eat whatever they want, whenever they want...if they want to gorge on cookies for breakfast, lunch and dinner -- go for it. I've still got silly string on the ceiling from 3 years ago on the 26th.

Until then...I've still got about three week's worth of baking to do.

And less than a week to do it in.

Then I won't bake another cookie until -- June? Maybe?

Hardly. If I was a "Super-Mom," I'd do it perfectly coiffed and in pearls and pumps and a ruffled apron, a la Donna Reed, instead of jeans, a sweatshirt and a ponytail.

And I've got an apron but even when I use it, the seat of my jeans tends to be awfully sugary by the time I'm finished...

Even I've been up there long long ago.

My sister likes to hike 14K mountains, she's a little touched in the head.

I don't. I have this thing about heights...and it's high up there. I've never even done the cog railway thing. All my kids have, I haven't.

60. I need a double shot of something, all right.
It's starting to snow. My motivation is sinking by. the. minute.

But I've gotta get moving. Debit card has a limit of 1,500.00/day and the 'bone that I won for Bonehead is 1625.00 + shipping. So I'm gonna have to pay it today and tomorrow.

especially if I'm bored at work or at the library or somewhere.

I'll bet it perks things Right up. Somehow, I doubt the cats would be terribly impressed, though.

And I can hear the reaction from girly-poo right now:

"Ewwwwwwwwwwww....mother!"

But I can't wait to see the look on this kid's face on Christmas. He's earned it and he's willing to have that be the only thing with his name on it under the tree, he wants it that badly.

111. Maybe
because I've been known to do silly things en route. Things like, oh, say...pop in a Disney sing-a-long and then sing as loud and off-key as humanly possible without shattering my windshield. And commenting in between the songs: "Remember this one? This one's your favorite!"

"While I'm thinking about it, did you remember to get those underwear out from behind your door?"

"Do you remember those bearskin rug pictures from when you were a baby? I think that I saw one under the seat...would you mind getting it for me?"

:)
