It's going to be a wonderful weekend

My whole family will be together for Christmas!!! Yippee-skippee!

My youngest son will be coming home on Saturday after completing his first semester at Humboldt State University. He'll be here for a whole month! We'll get some major league work done on restoring the 65 Mustang. He's majoring in Environmental Resource Engineering. He was just home for a week over Thanksgiving and HSU is only 300 miles away, but I miss him a ton. He may study abroad in Australia next year and it will absolutely kill me being that far away for that long. Round trip tickets run about $1500 a pop, so maybe wifey and I can go visit for our 26th anniversary.

Then there's my semi-adopted son (oldest son's best bud who lived with us off and on for several years). I'll be picking him up at Sacramento Intergalactic Airport on Monday. He's stationed at Ft. Lewis, WA and will likely be heading over to that bad place in May. Hopefully, we'll be getting the hell out by then. I hate to think that this may be the last time we'll get to spend time together. I'll make the best of it and we'll have mas tequila!!
