Poll question: Is it safe to ask this question regarding circumcision?
I'm curious as to how adult males who were circumcised as an infant feel about having that procedure done to them.

2. I don't see why--almost no male is hung up so to speak about circumcision
One way or the other. We just don't really care.

3. Well, this is not intended as flamebait, I am just curious about
what men think of the procedure as it was done to them. And them only. So, hopefully this can remain open.

6. I wish my parents hadn't circumsized me
Edited on Thu Dec-14-06 10:36 AM by terrya
On edit: "Terry...spellcheck. Use it"

It's just...so unnecessary. It's basically mutiliation. There are no reasons whatsoever why a boy should be circumsized today.

But I'm of a "certain age" (ok, 50) where boys were routinely circumsized. Ah, well.

10. I have no way of comparing.
I was circumcised as an infant so I have no way to tell if one way is better than the other. Circumcised is all I'll ever know.

Now I've read that fewer nerve endings mean less sensation but I have no way of experiencing it myself.

I guess my attitude is that if I can't change it, why worry about it.

13. doesn't matter to me.
i can't imagine having MORE sensation there anyway, plus I've only known it one way, so, what's to compare?

This thread won't get locked until we start calling each other idiots for our pov. so, call me an idiot.

15. The subject just isn't safe.
That way lies madness. No matter how you frame the question, no matter how intelligent or rational your points are. It's best not to attempt it.
