1. Their greatest song

I posted a snippet of it the other day in my John Lennon thread. Guitarist Dave Hlubek had enough of his icons being killed - people who devoted their lives to peace, and wrote this song as a needed catharsis. The song both musically and lyrically was about as unfashionable as could be in 1983, hence the reason it sounds even better today, while most of the popular pap of that era deservedly remains trite, plastic, and largely forgotten. The songs with timeless messages never die.

Stop the madness, indeed.
