1. My dear opiate69......
I didn't know the gentleman.......

But he was almost the same age as my older daughter.....

A drink to his memory! :toast:

3. I second that, opiate69.
He was younger than my son.

RIP Dimebag Darrell

4. Being a guitarist myself...
I always appreciated his abilities, but was never a "rabid fan" type.. but his murder shook me up a lot more than I would have expected it to.. something about it happening in the same type of club that I regularly play out at made it hit very, very close to home.

5. Very sad
I saw some specials about him following his death, and it seemed like he was genuinely good person who treated others well and was very well-liked. I have several Pantera albums, and Dimebag Darrell was one hell of a guitarist!
