Celebrating the wonder of Oasis
The country's top Oasis tribute band Wonderwall will be swaggering into Preston on December 9 to play at the 53 Degrees club.

Formed in Manchester not long after the Gallagher brothers thrust Oasis onto the world, Wonderwall not only sound remarkably like everyone's favourite Mancunians - but they look like them too.

To my knowledge, no one has ever formed a Beatles tribute band. The Gallagher brothers seem to have won the race to be tributed.

Score one for Oasis.

But there has been a Beetles tribute band called 1964 in existence since the guys in Wonderwall were shitting their diapers.

10. That page looks like it was made in 1996 or 1997.
That would show that the tribute bands stopped forming after Oasis came out.

7. These threads are hilarious

It cracks me up that people STILL take these posts seriously and respond with righteous umbrage on behalf of the Beatles. Although to be fair if they were my favorite band I probably would too.

But still...

11. ALL BANDS are Oasis tribute bands
Oasis invented rock and roll, if not music in general (I've already covered their time-travelling abilities), therefore, in the end, all bands are tribute bands to Oasis.

Everybody knows the medical brilliance of the Gallagher brothers.
