Dean Supporters tip 22% more than Bush supporters for Pizza
Among political pizza findings, people with "Dean for President" bumper stickers on cars in their driveways tipped 22 percent higher than people with "Bush for President" bumper stickers. People with "Bush for President" bumper stickers were three times more likely to order meat-topped pizzas than "Dean for President" drivers.

snip

U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft (news - web sites) might want to open an investigation into these findings -- he was No. 2 on the list of assumed names used by people ordering pizza.

I think it might have something to do with respect for the hard work of the common worker.

1. I would guess all Democrats tip more..
.. we know the value of actual work, unlike some of the spoiled brats on the other side.

2. Years ago, when I was in college.....
I worked in a Pizza delivery joint (making Pizza')

Each night the Delivery guys and gals drew names out of a hat to
find out which section of town they would be delivering in.

I could ALWAYS tell who got the "Well-to-do" part of town....
I would hear a "Shit...I won't be making beans tonight!" response from the unlucky driver...

That says a lot!!

3. Many of us have probably worked in jobs
where tips make up a large portion of our earnings. We understand it is hard work and appreciate it more.

4. Some wealthy people are oblivious
to the "little people."

Dems care more about people; Reps care more about money.

5. I delivered pizza for five years
And let me tell you, let me tell you, let me pull out my soapbox and hop on and preach, by God!!

GUARANTEED stiff = any house where the bumper sticker is freeperish. ANY Focus on the Family, GOP Candidate, anti-evolution, or other conservative bumper sticker is a guaranteed stiff. These people are also the sort of brainless assholes who insist that you let their child count the money out to you so they'll learn (homeschoolers are fond of this) how to handle money. Never mind that the kid is 2, they don't know how to count in quarters, and you have four pizzas in the car getting older and colder by the second. They are also the sort of assholes who will leave a check (with no work number or driver's license) with a 5-year-old and then go take a fucking shower.

REPUBLICANS ARE THE WORST CUSTOMERS ON THE PLANET.

I delivered during the 1996 election season, and EVERY house with a Clinton/Gore yard sign, bumper sticker, etc., was a great tip. Friendly, nice people who didn't give you shit when you said, "My boss is going to jump my ass if I don't bring the coupon in." People who understood that you were doing them a service, not being the personal babysitter/dogsitter/chauffeur while they yap on the phone and try to FIND their person, like those goddamned Republican soccer moms.

*steps down*

Thank you, thank you very much.

6. lol
you speak the truth. I tip way better than all of my coworkers who are all conservatives. Cheap is more like it. I'm concerned about the wait people - they do a good job, I want to tip them good. My coworkers see them as nothing more than servants.
