Poll question: Had an unopened bag of shrimp thawing in the fridge...
for 1 week.

Should I eat 'em or dump 'em?

3. Dump them
Don't take a chance on making yourself sick. You might develop a seafood aversion which, to me, is the equivilent of a death sentence. Its not worth taking the chance for a few dollars worth of shrimp.

4. I think if you open the bag
and take a whiff, you won't need the poll anymore.

8. You could give them a "cat scan"
If you have a cat, that is, especially a finicky one. If you're not sure about a meat item, let the cat sniff it. If she stays interested, it's probably safe.

9. Cooked or uncooked?
...I mean before they were frozen. ;)

Pre-cooked, hell. I'd eat 'em.

11. They were pre-cooked...
They smelled fine, but I dumped 'em. :-)

And now for my next poll, "Should I engage in unprotected love making?" ... :eyes:

12. Feed them to your cichlids
put them back in the freezer, pull out 1 or 2 a day, smash them & feed them to your fish.

My cichlids relish smashed shrimp, they don't care how old it is.

Harrad.
