I have the flu and I have finals in 2 days!
this is such utter crap! I spend the entire trimester culminating a perfect GPA and now I get sick when I need to seel the deal! I think I'm gonna go to the Dr's office, see what they have to say and then email my professors. I only have two finals left, maybe I can take them some other time, I know I'd bomb them feeling like this even though I know the matieral!

though it'd be better with, of course - if you're a GOOD STUDENT - your profs should have NO problem with giving you a make-up exam.

6. I emailed the professor of the exam I was stressed about
he advised me to take an incomplete so I think I'm gonna accept that offer. Last night I think I crawled over the hump, it was nonstop cold shivers and sweating rolling and moaning. Now I just have a soar throat and just feel a bit sluggish, sort of in a daze. My other exam is Russian literature which shouldn't be too bad, I aced his midterm, went to every lecture, read all the books. I'll probauly just finish my study guide up, and take in tommorow afternoon. That will only leave me with 1 incomplete so that shouldn't be too bad.

3. Is there a health center on campus?
If you are on campus, go to the college health center if they have one because they are probably more used to giving excuses to professors and others on campus.
When I had flu, which started on a Saturday night and was severe on a Sunday, I went to the health center on a Monday morning and was given anti virals. The nurse sent excuses to my professors, on campus job superviser, and track coach, excusing me for the whole week. One of my professors was suprised when I brought my homework to his office on Wednesday though I didn't go to his morning class. He said that part of the excuse was an extension on my homework too. I ended up going to my latest Wednesday class, which was also my favorite, and the professor repeatedly asked if I was sure that I was alright. I did miss work and track practice all week, but did go to my Friday classes even though the excuse was still valid.
I guess what I am saying is that a health center might be able to help you out more as far as dealing with professors. If you do get permission to take your exams later though, try to take them within a reasonable amount of time if you know the material. You don't want to lose a lot of knowledge over break or have stress about the tests and having incompletes.
I hope that you feel better soon.

5. Same here, and don't forget the liquids if you have a fever.
You should do fine on chicken soup, as long as you don't catch the bird flu from it.
