I am so tired of hearing about Haggard , Foley and the other holier than thous.

Ok face it Haggard , you are not perfect. I am not throwing stones because I am not perfect but this is what people get who try to act like they are better than other people. The bones in your closet fell out and you have no one to blame but yourself - and you know what, its ok its alright :) no one expected you to be perfect but when you build yourself up as this person with golden morals and your truth comes out, its a hard fall. I hope your face feels better soon. Have fun in rehab.

I love how when people who have hidden their sexuality (like who cares, who you love is who you love) decide to go to "rehab" ala Mark Foley. If its you then be YOU.

1. It all comes down to the hypocrisy

I can live with liars, cheats and just plain ol' fuck-ups, but when they preach to me about the immoralities of life or point fingers at people and condemn them for things they are doing themselves, it pisses me off and I have no use for them.

Let them go to rehab, good for them. But the truth is they are only going because they got busted. So Haggard is going to rehab because he had sex with other men? LOL, that's rich.

... as nice and accepting as that sentiment is, I'm not too sure about the "who you love is who you love" and "if it's you then be YOU" angle when, as in Foley's case "who you love" includes a 16- and 17-year-old (ie non-adult) pages over whom you have some authority, and "being YOU" means being what many would classify as a pederast.

But in those other cases where "being you" just means finding some sexual pleasure with another consenting adult, as appears to be the case with Haggard, then sure.

And I in no was saying that it is ok to make advances to 16 or 17 year olds.
