2. this is not a push poll...it's an accurate tally of the desires of the DU Voters
who i hold in the highest regard.

look, where else are you gonna find such uninamity of vision, such clarity of opinion, such selfless regard in DU?

I should get a friggin medal or something.

10. if you'd had five other choices
i'd have picked Central Grocery.

Also would like for BOSSHOG to go to Napoleon House and have a Pimm's Cup. That is, if that would suit his fancy.

12. Other: A muffuletta (sp.) at Central Grocery
It actually can be spelled both ways, just not at Central Grocery. It's just one of many New Orleans traditions you don't mess with. Rachael Ray fell into the same trap, right before she rode the streetcar (taped pre-K) to show off the fabulous architecture on St. Charles Street!

Honorable mention: A bowl of something dark and mysterious at the Gumbo Shop on St. Peter, or a burger with baked potato at Port of Call, just inside the Quarter on Esplanade (they have no fryolator, hence the baked potato). While the food in the Quarter is far superior to anything the rest of us might have handy, it isn't even the best in the city!

and worked in the Quarter for a number of years, please treat yourself to a scrumptious roast beef poboy at Johnny's Po-Boys, 511 St. Louis St. And be sure to get it 'dressed' with extra 'debris'. They'll know what you mean..
