How do you do a screen shot?
How many times have I asked this question here? About a 1/2 dozen times. I'm usualy really computer literate, but for what ever reason, I can't remember how to get a screen shot. Please help!

Gracias!

1. You should use the button "Print Screen" on your keyboard.
This copies it to your clipboard. From there you can paste it into any program that does images. On a Macintosh you can use grab.app.. applications/utilities/grab

3. I think this is why I always get confused by this.
There is no "Print Screen" key on my PC laptop. F5? F4? F8?

9. A bit of advice
Bookmark this thread so you have the answer ready next time you need it. I've done that on several tech type posts in the MAC forum. It helps! :)

2. I only know how on a MAC
Command, shift & 3 to get a shot of the whole screen.
Command, shift & 4 to get a shot of a selected item.

Or using the Grab application which does the same as above plus has a timed option.

4. Mac users are always the most helpful people!
I swear, you guys always answer this question first. Unfortunately, I have an HP. Next time, I'm totally getting a Mac. It'll no doubt make me a nicer person. :)

Thanks anyway.
