I agree about that white scarf, er, dress. And the way she's moving in that it looks to me like she's channeling Annie Lennox, too, in her movements. A little genderfuck is always nice, at least to me. She lost me at the end with the curls and that dress that kind of looked like a Beyonce rip off, but the rest of it is nice. I wonder how much it costs to make a video like that, anyway...

I remember watching that live. I was living in Germany (Hannover) at the time and the EMA's (MTV Europe Music Awards) was live from Frankfurt and that was the first thing that I saw on tv in a matter of weeks that got me excited - because it was about 2 months after September 11. But yeah that was a great performance. And she did'nt lip synch - at least I can't tell if she did. But it kicked ass !
