Dixie Chicks on VH1's Storytellers tonight
9 p.m. eastern/pacific (and re-run a couple other times later this weekend).

I was at the taping, and it was a GREAT show:

I love these women. They are the best!!!!

Oh yes, Wide Open Spaces!!!!

I'm absolutely loving this. I saw them on August 15th in Chicago and this is like a instant rerun....

6. This is one of two do-overs they did.
Martie forgot her fiddle solo in the middle of the song, which was hilarious. If you noticed, there was a HUGE cheer (followed by her embarrassed smile) on the take they aired; we were all cheering her for remembering it.

The other do-over was for Silent House, because Natalie (the song's about her grandmother) got choked up partway through the song the first time they did it.

This was such an awesome concert. Back to the TV now....
