so quickly. Fine by me. We did take what you might call hostile fire, though. On Feb 24th, 1991, our base was Scudded. It was kinda scary because it happened so fast. Fortunately, the Patriot missile battery down the road took out the missile's propulsion system. The warhead was left intact, but it exploded about a quarter of a mile from the base.

BTW, I was standing about 100 yards from where the pic was taken when the attack occurred.
