My daughter put herself in rehab yesterday

She is hundreds of miles away , and I am not suppose to know about it.

She is an addict

she had to practically beg them to take her . She has no money (and neither do I ) so it was very humiliating

she told me a long time ago that if she ever thought she couldn't handle it , she would put herself in Rehab .

Of course she was never ever able to "handle it"

10. I will be where she is next month

I planned my winter vacation months ago. I think it is why (in part) that she did it ;She did not want me to see her "that way" again.

She has a young son (his older sister took custody) I hope my 22 yr old grand daughter can handle him . She has put her life on hold because of this.

It is my worst fear that she will leave before she is ready . In a voluntary comittment the patient can leave any time they want to. They probably would not take her in again if she left to soon

We all have our demons, some harder than others. I know you'll do the very best that you can but remember, there's only so much you can do for a person, no matter how much you love them. Your daughter has a fight on her hands and (since her move was voluntary) seems to be on top of things. Thats the best you can hope for at this point.
