Would you buy this for your kid?

It came from Engrish.com - so it's probably something you can buy in Japan somewhere

3. No, but I'd buy it for myself.
I actually have a Maui Wowie tank top from Paia, Maui. It has pictures of weed all over it. My mother looks at it and dumbly says, "I don't know if that shirt's appropriate, the mermaid on the back is topless."

6. Possibly
Littlebooklover already has an "A" anarchy t-shirt, and a Ramones shirt. What's so wrong with this, except that she'll grow out of it in a few months?

wonder if the person who bought it for the kid knew what it was about.....

Well, probably they did. But I don't think it's appropriate.

19. No.
I find it a bit inappropriate. As a kid, when Spuds McKenzie was the thing, my parents would not let me have a Spuds shirt because it was basically selling beer. A kid in a beer shirt is inappropriate and we're not into seeing products with out clothing. That is the other thing I don't like about this. I hate a lot of graphics on clothing. Advertising a candidate or a cause is one thing, but never wear designer names on my shirts. Why should I pay to advertise for someone else?

more than I can say for this. Not many people in the U.S. would have a clue what this means:

26. I thoroughly understand that one
The US$-yen rate, for today, is $1=Y118. Let's round it down to a hundred yen to the dollar.

We are therefore presented with a 256MB MP3 player for less than $40, a 512MB one for under $50 and a 1GB one for under $80.

The "prayer" is that the thing works when you get it.

How do you say "all sales are final" in Japanese?
