I had cable for a while in the 80's - don't remember what it cost. Do remember being incredibly dissappointed at having so many channels with nothing to watch.

We have a blue-headed Pionus parrot, Willow; two canaries, Juno and Helios; two black-masked African lovebirds, Ceasar (pronounced 'Kay-zar') and Tzarina, 5 pairs (10 total) of Zebra finches, (Thorn & Snowy; Rogue & Diana; Antony & Cleopatra; Alezander & Bianca; Blizzard & Ophelia); 5 Spice finches, (Indra, Kali, Hyperion, Zoe, & Aeolus); 2 European Serias, (Aegis & Inara), one Black-hooded nun finch, Mystique; 1 bronze-winged finch, Karter (the name of "Hawkman" in DC comics); 2 Lady Gouldian finches, Tempest & Troia; 3 society finches, Corona, Odin, & Orion. So, actually, 29 birds, not 30. We used to have a Quaker, Illapa, but she and I didn't get along very well; so she got to go to a new home.

We also have a cat, Tony; 5 Roborovskii Dwarf hamsters (Tithonus, Buono, Andromeda, Perseus, & Scout), and a long-haired chihuahua. We just lost our last two fish (Myth and Winter) this past week.

This is Super-dog (he appears at our house sometimes)....
