10. how do i set the scene --

i'm in bed watching tv -- and i see a spider on the bed with me.

i scream -- jump up in my boxers -- dance around the room -- flailing{we have that in common -- except i work out all the time have some big ol' supposedly boy muscles} and run next door to get my neighbor nancy to come and get the spider.

she does -- i threaten to light the bed on fire -- she gets it and puts it outside.

i'm still in my boxers -- she points this out -- and so i stop dancing so i can look as dignified as possible.

i should be shamed by all of this -- but i'm too scared to be shamed -- they're ICKY.

on edit: i slept on the sofa.
