Poll question: I talk like George Bush.
I don't type like it... usually... but lately I'm really just not feeling the necessity of bothering to type in my 'phone voice', so to speak. Is that bad?

It feels kinda bad, but ... well I dunno.

What do you think? Should I be ashamed of my slangy speaking habits?

How can it be bad. We know you are not George Bush. (And I know you are cute, too).

:hi:

3. Awwww c'mon now...
At least I was born & raised here... didn't adopt a fake accent after a failed run at the state leg. :7

6. Oops I was joking
I thought you meant you had misprounced something and you were hard on yourself. I guess you mean that you have a similar accent.
Take my remark in the way intended.
I don't want a Queen pissed at me. ;)

I said I spoke slang... not stupid!

Well... I think I should have said "speak" up there instead of "talk"... but I figured it had more impact this way, so I left it. :P

But yeah... dudn't, idn't, etc. I can intentionally not do it, but it never goes away completely... specially if I'm relaxin, stressed, or angry.

10. Hells no!
I just talk like I'm from Texas.

I started thinking about this recently when I started seriously considering moving out of the country. I'm worried when I speak, people will be reminded of the horror that is our pretzeldent. That's a sad thought. :(

Especially if you're in a new country and you pronounce their political leader's names the same way GW butchers them ;-)
