Hey Single Lonely Guys!!! Try Dance Lessons!!!

Disclaimer: I'm 40ish, bald, fat, ugly and I have bad social skills; that said.

I have been taking ballroom dance lessons since about January. This is really amazing; pretty single ladies smile at me, talk to me and let me dance with them. Occasionally I get the feeling that some of them are actually glad that I'm there rather than the next guy.

To be sure none of them are hauling me home to meet momma. But still it is a vast improvement over spending another night in front of the tube. The best part is that I get to go home smelling like the pretty ladies I practiced with. Divorced guys like me will understand.

So single guys; before you bitch one more time about how dating sucks sign up for at least a month of lessons. It will NOT get you laid but if you are clean, attentive and try hard you will get a serious boost in ego. Also, unlike the drubbing you have taken in the cannibalistic dating scene this will be a huge improvement in meeting women; they will pay attention to you.

You might eventually learn to dance. You will have a safe space/time to get to know people. You will improve your social skills and you will probably have fun.

Dance lessons; try it.

8. About $10 to $15 bucks a class or check your local JC

There are also club classes and Parks and Recreation classes available locally. It all depends on where you live.

I learned that dancing is one of those things women love to do and you have a great chance with them if you learn. Now, many men don't really get into it like women, but you do what you have to do. At least until you're married and can stop pretending.

7. Just guessing...

I would say the options for single guys to meet somebody is better with something like that versus hanging out on the internet all day and all night 24/7. That's the biggest "I can't seem to meet anybody" type complainers that I always see on various message boards. It's always the same ones who never get off the internet and get out instead. You see them at 2:00pm in the afternoon and at 2:00am in the morning.

BTW - It is awesome to watch two people who really know what they're doing when it comes to ballroom dancing.

10. Another idea: yoga classes

There are always a lot more women in yoga classes. But the socializing and interacting opportunities probably aren't nearly as good as at dance lessons.
