That was a fun movie.

21. I saw it for free, to review it for my college newspaper.
And I felt cheated. The friend who went to see the movie with me and I were reduced to counting the number of cigarettes lit and not smoked completely. We started that after we got bored picking apart the threadbare plot.

I'm sorry if this offends anybody who liked it, but I was so bored by the forty-five minute mark, from the scenery chewing and cliches, I was ready to leave -- but I'd pulled somebody's fat out of the fire by agreeing to review it, and had to sit through to the credits.

Joey Pants was so awful in that movie, I was surprised he continued to have a career. In all honesty, though, Michael Pare was actually pretty good -- but he couldn't have saved that script except with a blowtorch and a can of gasoline.

23. Of course! John Cafferty and Beaver Brown rock!!!
I've been collecting all their stuff for ages, and I have three or four live recordings as well. I got to meet them when I was a wee lad in 1985, and they couldn't have been nicer.

The movie is basically crap, though. :)

31. anyone remember the Justine Bateman ripoff?
"Satisfaction," the distaff Eddie and the Cruisers.

Liam Neeson was the love interest, though he may have turned out to be the bad guy.
