Poll question: Which version of a Christmas Carol do you like the best?
Edited on Wed Dec-24-03 10:42 PM by benfranklin1776
Dickens timeless tale of greed and redempton graces our television screens this season once again. I think the tale has more relevance than ever in this the era of unrepentant corporate greed run amok. Would that the ghost of Christmases past, present, and future visit the hard hearted people that seem content to worsen the lot of the poor and least fortunate among us.
However as Dickens' tale reminds, there is hope for even the worst and the most miserly as they can turn from their evil ways if they wish.

This begs the question though which adaptation of this oft told but, to me, always pleasing tale do my fellow DUers prefer? I lean to the 1984 version by George but Patrick Stewart does a fine turn as Ebenezer as well. All adaptations have many different but interesting and varied wrinkles. Thoughts?

8. SCROOGED!!!
That is a CLASSIC Christmas flick, seriously! But if it has to be like the REAL Christmas Carol that I have to pick from it would be Mickey's Christmas Carol "McDuck" from Ducktales as "Scrooge! That was a good one!
