Poll question: Favorite hobbit euphemism for death.
When a hobbit dies they use their own lingo to describe it. The shoeless creatures don't "pop clogs" or kick the bucket. There's no dust to bite in the verdant Shire. What is your favorite one?

2. One will lock this thread and the other will not.
Considering which of the two subjects is "indecent", I wonder what that says about us.

3. Bravo, sir! Take a bow
Since all the answers were equally brilliant, I went with the elves one since it didn't have a vote at that time.

19. "Slipped on the other ring" doesn't mean dead, it means "purple headed"
I am wrong for even thinking that way

Actually, I think any amount of time spent with Tom Bombadil-Bombadilo qualifies as death.
