Best "make-out" music?
Mine is an obscure album called "Barefoot Ballet" by John Klemmer.

Also Exile's "Kiss You All Over", which so totally dates me that it's embarrassing.

Edited on Fri Oct-13-06 07:43 PM by benny05
Gino Vanelli's "Storm at Sunup" and "Hold Me Now" medley, especially the bridge going into "Hold Me Now" was pretty darn good. Just lookin' at Gino was enough to inspire anyone.

29. Barry White is NOT make out music. It puts woman in the mood... for Barry!
Invariably this sort of thing backfires. That smooth voice is irresistable to women, but the effect is not tranferable no matter how many big gold chains you wear. By the second track they're grabbing their coats, heading for their cars, and cellphoning the airport for emergency tickets to LA.

20. I used to have a "mix tape" for this very occasion...
Edited on Fri Oct-13-06 04:19 PM by ALiberalSailor
Here are some of the songs, as best as I can remember them:

"Stripped" by Depeche Mode
"Charlotte Sometimes" by The Cure
"Only You" by Yaz
"The Chauffer" by Duran Duran
"A Different Corner" by George Michael
"Night and Day" Al B. Sure
"Don't disturbe this groove" by The System

I guess that's about all I can remember. Looking back, I was quite the freak, huh?

"Passion" by Peter Gabriel (Added on edit)

24. I can describe it for you...
Edited on Fri Oct-13-06 04:37 PM by ALiberalSailor
It's me, with my hair parted on the side, very straight down to my eyebrows, short on the sides, and a little
long in the back. Yes, kinda a mullet, but that's what soccer players wore back then. I had on a white
button-down polo oxford shirt, with a red turtle-neck underneath. I would classify myself back then
as very, very sloppy preppy because I also had blond streaks in my dark brown hair and I
almost always, wore eyeliner back then, and did so in the pic. A few safety pins holding
things on (yes, I could have sewn them, but that would defeat the point, huh?) or "patching" up
holes. I have no idea why, but that's what the socially acceptable kid from Louisville, Kentucky
who listened to the music on that tape wore back then.

30. Ever use it to "set the mood?"
Sometimes radio stations will use music from Barefoot Ballet or Touch late-night radio for their "mood music" shows. Whenever I hear it, it brings me two people trying to fit onto a small dorm bed....
