9. the orig is prolly better for the classic sorts of reason ie, first time..

it's got Julie Harris, who i like, B&W...stuff like that. the new one is glitzier more CGI, Catherine Zeta-J, Liam Neisen, Lili Taylor (who is very good in this), Owen Wilson...still good

and any Japanese horror movie. I'm sorry...but the modern horror movies? I could grab a camera, throw some blood onto a half naked twenty something, and then do the slow-mo hacking while some current metal band grinds in the background. Where the heck did the plot go in american horror movies? I watch Japanese horror movies now. They are so bent I still cant get my brain wrapped around them. Its wonderful.
