Ow...I hate Migraines
Better now....5am-8am was pretty horrific though...No way was I going to make it to Frnech class at 9:30... x(

First one in at least a year....that sucked, yep.

1. I'm so sorry. I hate them too...
:hug: And none of the triptan type medicines work for me. :( I hate that "slightly off" feeling I get after one as well.

2. Yeah, I don't feel quite right yet...
Have to go to Econ class...But, it's nice not to be in agony...Mrs Sniffa's typing this morning was like a jackhammer in my brain. x(

3. I have given up trying to ameliorate mine.
I have not gone a week without one in years. In fact, I have endured a non-stop 7.9 out of 10 migraine for 2 months, and a low grade 2.0 migraine for a year. Only Percodan, MS Contin and their buddies even take the edge off one. I have a 6.0 right now; it started on Monday.

I have learned to accept that they are a frequent part of not being asleep.

4. Glad it's getting better...here's a non-medical trick that helped me...
get through having migraines in class......

Coca-Cola & Peppermint Patties

My mom told me about it once and it really does work. The caffeine in the Coca-Cola and the sugar in the Peppermint Patties help blood flow or something.

Also, try running your wrists under cold water every once in a while.
