My week so far. *Warning, self pitying rant*
Monday: Son comes in from the garage to tell me that my car is 'hissing'. Sure enough, driver's side left rear tire is going flat. Triple A comes, I get to Firestone without incident get the valve replaced.

Get mail from Saturday. Bills, bills and more bills from husband's surgery.

Husband drives to NJ to his office and tells me that he will call me when he gets to the hotel to give me the AAA information because I can't find my card. Three hours later, kids and I are trying to get him and each time his cell rings once, picks up and we can hear the TV in the background. So, eventually, I panic and call security to check on him. He apparently had the ear bud in while it was charging and didn't realize it was picking up. :eyes:

Drink entire bottle of chardonnay to calm down. It didn't work.

Tuesday: Get kids out the door to school. Start working on extremely important presentation to client for the afternoon. Well, actually, fine tune it because I worked on it all weekend.

Landscaper calls and wants a check for the partial work on the patio. Fine. Except bill is WAY higher than I expected.

Son calls to pick him up from school. No biggie. He then does his homework and goes to play basketball with some friends.

Five minutes before the call at 4, son calls to tell me that he thinks he broke his foot again and can I come get him. I race to pick him up, get him settled on the couch with an ice bag and proceed to the call.

6PM, come out of the office, hustle son and little Midlo into the Midlovan and proceed to the ER. We wait 3 hours to be told what I already know; it's broken again.

Return home from ER. Puppy has escaped the crate and peed all over the sunroom floor. I throw some dinner at the kids, clean up after the puppy, put in another load of laundry, help the 10yo with her homework and then the 16 yo returns from her game and 'wants to talk' :eyes:

When I tell my husband how hard my life has been this week, he responds with "you aren't Job, you don't have a hard life". I tell him I am going to shove a Bible up his ass and that Job has been dead for 3000 years and I never knew him.

Wake up this morning with a stiff neck.

I'm going back to bed until Saturday. See ya then.

5. You have my sympathy
Mr. OzarkDem has been working out of town all week since early this year. He comes home every other weekend. Its like being a single parent - having to take care of everything.

Take some time off for vacation ASAP. Its the only thing that helps me stay sane. Make sure you get out of town and away from it all.

7. I Shouldn't Laugh But
This is too funny:

I tell him I am going to shove a Bible up his ass and that Job has been dead for 3000 years and I never knew him.

I hope that felt good.

Have one of these.

13. Aww darlin.
If I could, I'd send Bobo over to give you a neck rub. He's a good egg that way.

(And some damn fine eye candy, too.)
