People keep messing with my "stay home and be depressed" plan
I swear. Yet again, a "Robb, come on out, we're going __________" phone call. :D

Don't people understand I just want to mope around the house with a glass of wine, quietly sobbing?

3. I have no doubt it would indeed be epic
If only there were cheap flight to TX from here. Hell, if only there were cheap flights to anywhere from here. Damned regional puddle-jumpers. :D

10. You know, I'm not a real "blasted" kinda guy
The sheer cost involved, with my slooooow metabolism, is prohibitive. Plus it's not as much fun.

9. Robb, leave the quietly drinking at home, sobbing thing to me.
You go out and have some fun. Run along now! The wine'll still be waiting when you get back.

12. Sitting At Home And Drinking.........
..........never solved a goddamned thing. If you are drinking, it should be with friends. Never alone. If you are depressed and don't want to be with other people, alcohol will just make you feel worse. Trust me on this........I speak from experience. If you want to be alone, get a prescription for Celexa. It will be far less destructive in the long run and actually make you feel better about yourself. But for chrissakes..........lay off the solo drinking.

13. I think it's okay to stay at home w/ a glass of wine
but don't be depressed. She wasn't the one for you. Be glad you found out now.

In your honor, and because I was a bad-ass today and did the Tufts 10K, I'm drinking w/ you--- tequila

14. Now is not the time to be selfish, Robb.

You need to be there for your friends. Don't make them have a good time without you. That would just be cruel.

;)

22. Don't answer the phone or the door.
You are in mourning. You need time to grieve. Your friends need to give you that time. Just don't grieve forever. I was 52 and planning to be celibate the rest of my life when I married my current husband. You never know what is waiting for you out there. But do take time to grieve - it's important.

23. Unplug the phone and lock the door.
Let your voicemail get the calls.

And pass the wine. It's not so far...I'll stretch if you will.

24. I'm with you man
It has been 7 months and I am still not over it, just don't wait as long as I did to at least try to find some company so you aren't so goddamn lonely all the time. Till then go with my motto: I will drink to others health....until it becomes a detriment to my own.
