First, I hate gambling - it bores the hell out of me. But last week one evening a co-worker had a picnic at Delaware Park (Horse Racing and Slots). After the picnic one of my other co-workers wanted to see inside the casino, so the three of us went inside to walk around. Well the picnic host put a $1 in the quarter slot and the second pull she won $25. I ended up $2 poorer.

So today my parents visisted. And for some bizarre reason they wanted to go to Delaware park even though neither of them are gamblers. They just thought it would be neat and they wanted to see the inside.

My mother puts $1 in a machine and on the THIRD pull she won $25. Needless to say I cashed her out immediately since they were now officially ahead. (My stepfather did about $10 and still managed to come home with $8). Me, I ended up about $3 poorer.

So seriously, if you need to win some money at the slots just take me along. I'll lose a few bucks but more than likely you'll end up $25 richer!
