Got a big jumpy thing (I think I'll pass) and a CLOWN.
Corinne sounds like Talulah Bankhead.
VERY deep voice.
Cracks me up when she says (WAY down there) "Hullo trof".
She's an extremely *serious* person.
3 going on 45.

Miz t. turned the kitchen into a cupcake factory for the party yesterday.
It still smells good.
Hot dogs for the kids and shrimp and...ahem...adult beverages for us grown-ups.
Bon nuit, y'all.
:hi:

2. Thanks. As long as I stay out of the jumpy thing
I think we'll be OK.

3. Have fun.
Is this your daughter we're speaking of? She sounds hilarious.

4. Nope, family next door.
They have 2 little girls, 3 and 5, who have adopted us as grandparents-in-residence.
Almost every afternoon the doorbell rings and they have come for a "visit".
Possibly because they know Miz t. keeps a big box of popsicles in the freezer.
:9

There were about 20 little kids at the party and they were just fun to watch.
Corinne enjoyed the singing of "Happy Birthday" so much we had to do it 2 more times.
"AGAIN!"

The cupcakes were a big hit, too.
One little boy was standing there with one in each grubby paw and a perplexed look on his face.
Which one to eat first?

I peeled some shrimp for Corinne and she started eating the shells.
"No, Corinne. Eat this part."
"Don' wanna. Like dese."
I guess she'll survive.

5. Kids are just neat to observe.
When we'll adopt, we'll probably adopt kids in the 3-5 range. They're still in that discovering stage. I love that she loved being sang to. That is just too cute. Sounds like you had fun, and I think you rather enjoy being the adopted granddad of these kids. We had a neighbor growing up who was our adopted grandmother. Do you know how hurt my feelings were when I was told she wasn't really my grandma? Kids need as many people in their lives who love them as possible. They're lucky. :7

6. Sounds cute and fun
It's always enjoyable to see happy little kids isn't it? They're so funny at that age.

Adoptive grandparents/kids relationships can last a life time trof. My soon to be dil and her sister have an adopted Grandma & Grandpa. Grandpa S. died a few years ago, but Grandma is still here at 90 and is a wonderful lady who has filled their lives with love.
