I had my biopsy Tuesday and I am back at work today. I just placed my 4th call to surgical pathology - it's not done yet. BLERGH! I just want to know! No matter what it is, I want to know.

I grew up in Havertown (near Ardmore).
Its really starting to get built up in Chester Co (like Bucks 10 years ago), so the traffic is getting out of hand. I work from home tho, so that cut down on a lot of hassle.

I just bought a house and its fun to do all the landscaping and everything that comes with that.

In fact, I have some new trees being delivered (two birches and a japanese maple) I'm kind of looking forward to planting to spruce up the place.

I am from here, but moved away when I was 18 and didn't come back til I was 30. The whole time I was gone, I missed it, and now that I'm back, I'm never leaving. This has always been "home", even though I didn't live here for a long time, if that makes sense. It's where my heart is. I love this city.

Working from home is a nice way to beat the commute - I walk to work so I have a similar situation. :D

give you a :hug:. I know just what you're going through. I hate that they make anyone wait for results like that. A friend that works at a pathology lab in NYC said the only reason people have to wait for results of biopsies is that the caseload is backed up. Anyone who knows how to read results could tell you within minutes what it is or is not. :grr: It's not that they have to grow cultures or anything. I waited a week for mine, and it was the longest week of my life.
