My landlord put up a "Handicapped Parking Only" sign for me today
I've got a torn meniscus in my knee and though he sometimes asks the tenants to park by the road when he has a function going on, he made an exception for me because I have a bum leg. My SO was thanking him for that (as he has a shindig going on today) and my landlord's eyes suddenly lit up and he sprinted off to the barn to get the sign that he'd gotten somewhere.

So when I came home from work, there were cars parked all over, the tenants vehicles on the road and one spot - mine - empty and marked with the sign.

I laughed all the way to my door. :)

4. Good deal. You going to get that knee fixed? I'm looking at one of
those operations myself, but have been putting it off for two years because of my bad experience the last two times under the knife.

I know that meniscus surgery is a lot easier than it used to be, but I'll hold off until they can do it with a laser or something.
