Strawberry Comforts Jackson at Neverland
By VICKIE CHACHERE, Associated Press Writer

TAMPA, Fla. - Pop singer Michael Jackson (news) has found a friend in another celebrity who's had his own brushes with the law — former baseball star Darryl Strawberry.

Strawberry, a member of the Without Walls International Church in Tampa, ministered to Jackson during a trip to the singer's Neverland Ranch this weekend, said Randy White, the church's head pastor, on Monday.

Strawberry, televangelist Paula White and Associate Pastor Rob Mallan had been invited by Jackson after meeting members of the church at a birthday party earlier this year for his father, Joe Jackson, White said. Strawberry could not be reached for comment Monday and others on the trip did not return calls for comment.

Geez, the guy is a child molester and now these tele-evanglists are 'comforting' him. :eyes:

2. Hell, Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell would comfort
him too if it meant having him write a big fat check.

3. Without Walls International Church?
Okie doke...

Any port in a storm, I guess. But, why do I have a feeling that this is more about getting publicity for the "church" than it is about comforting Jacko? </cynic>

5. here's their site
http://www.withoutwalls.org/

"The perfect church for people who aren't."

"The Church was birthed in 1991 with a heart & call for evangelism & restoration."

there are links for "online tithing" and "love gifts" of course

I wouldn't deny anyone the means or opportunity to renew their souls as they see fit, so I'll refrain from further comment.

The perfect church for people who aren't what?

Restoration of what?

I'll just stop here before I say something that might offend someone. :7
